Bauchi State Sharia Commission has shared eighteen Million Naira as Zakkat in 2021.
Chairman of the commission Malam Mustapha baba Ilelah made this known while speaking with newsmen in Bauchi on their activities in the preceding year.
Malam Mustapha Baba Ilelah said during the year under review the commission has distributed about one thousand bags of grains in five out of the six emirates in the state as well as a large number of animals.
He said during the period the commission has also distributed inheritance property and cash worth over one hundred million Naira to heirs.
According to the chairman of the commission, they have resolved conflicts between Muslims and Non-Muslim husbands and wives as well as neighbors.
Malam Mustapha Baba ilelah said during the year under review the commission has carried out a series of enlightenment campaign markets Mosques motor parks and made houses on Islamic way of life and societal reorientation.
